On the 29th of August, 1979, Thomas LIDGUERRE and Lawrence SANGER headed out from Fond du Lac to Uranium City on Lake Athabaska. The boat was located two days later, swamped near the Narrows and Popular Point. A search was conducted and lasted for over one month without any success in locating LIDGUERRE and SANGER.
