During the fall of 1985, a local farmer found the partial skeletal remains of a single individual in a rural area near the hamlet of Bickleigh, SK. Bickleigh is approximately 40 km north east of Eston, SK. The RCMP Eston Detachment and Provincial Coroner investigated but could not identify the individual. The remains were examined by the University of Saskatchewan, Department of Anthropology and were determined to be those of a mid 20's Caucasian male who stood approximately 5'6" to 5'9" tall and rugged stature. This case continues to be investigated by the Office of the Chief Coroner and the RCMP "F" Division Historical Case Unit in Regina, SK.
