On the 4th of July, 2001, Brian TONI, 51 years old, was last physically seen in Lacombe, AB, at approximately 4:00 p.m. TONI apparently left Lacombe for Calgary. On the 29th of July, 2001, TONI's vehicle was located in a grove of trees near Shamrock, SK. Numerous searches in the Shamrock district have unsuccessful in locating TONI, who has not been seen again.

UPDATE ***On the 28th of September, 2007, skeletal remains were located by a rancher in the Chaplin District, approximately 15 km from where Mr. TONI's vehicle was located in 2001.Through the assistance of the Saskatchewan Chief Coroner and Dr. Ernest WALKER of the University of Saskatchewan, the remains were positively identified using DNA technology as those of Mr. TONI. The actual cause of death has not been determined. Further investigation continuing by Regina RCMP Historical Case Unit.***
