In 2002, a human skull was located in the Southey district, SK. The skull was examined by the University of Saskatchewan Department of Archaeology. The skull is believed to be 50 - 100 years of age and is believed to be that of an Aboriginal male 25 - 40 years of age. This case is being investigated by the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
